They have done a wonderful job in dissecting all of the major social networks on the basis of education level, gender, age and household income of their users. This infographic gives us a bird's eye view of the current state of the social networks and the kind of people using them. Women are on top when it comes to using Facebook (57 %), Twitter (59 %) or Pinterest (82 %) while men dominate Google+ at 71 %. College students dominate most social networks like Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. Facebook is the largest social networks with 845 million users ahead of LinkedIn with 150 million users and Twitter with 127 million users. Facebook has the highest average time on site per visit at 23:20 minutes. If all of the 845 million Facebook users visit Facebook at least once a day then they would spend a total of 326733333 hours per day on Facebook. The average daily visit of Facebook on mobile is 200 million. That is pretty good considering 5.2 billion cell phone users in the world and not all of them have smart phones. There are around 2 million companies on LinkedIn and 75 % of its users, use LinkedIn for business purposes only.
